Digital Marketing Executive (UX and Social Media)

We’re quickly expanding our team and we are looking for a digital marketing executive to help us build contents that allow home gardeners, plant enthusiasts, agropreneurs or farmers to change how their plants photosynthesize through the novel technology of Qarbotech. If you’re a passionate writer, creative content creator, natural collaborator, passionate marketer and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment, and you’re interested in solving some of the most challenging problems facing modern agriculture and horticulture, we’d love to talk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies/campaigns and promotional activities for Qarbotech’s products
  • Understand and empathize with the customers’ journey to create relevant content based on customer persona
  • Shape the experience of using Qarbotech’s products through digital content creation and copywriting
  • Own and implement style guides and content frameworks 
  • Write, edit, and test language that makes Qarbotech’s technology intuitive, with a strong focus on turning complex, often heavily-technical explanations into human-friendly, straightforward prose
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders especially sales team to ensure home gardeners, plant enthusiasts, agropreneurs or farmers receive a resonate, appropriate, and consistent message that drives results across different digital channels
  • Liaise with appointed marketing agencies for campaigns execution and performance 

Key Competencies: 

  • Proficient in English and Malay languages
  • Passion in writing and advocating for simplicity in content
  • Basic skills in creating graphics and visuals for digital content
  • Basic photo and video editing skills
  • Ability to edit and proof-read
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced environment
  • Strong listener and communicator
  • Keen judgment
  • Strong desire to learn and develop skill sets
  • Independent and ability to work with little guidance

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience leading digital marketing projects from inception to completion
  • Experience writing for social media audiences
  • Big plus for experience on projects focused on agriculture or horticulture

Sales Executive

Specifically, the position of Sales Executive helps with all sales and go-to-market activities for partners and customers. You are responsible for identifying new business prospects and selling products and services offered by Qarbotech to them. You are excited in building and maintaining relationships with current and new clients/customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities
  • Research and analyze sales channels
  • Coordinate with management team and lead the sales presentations and go-to-market activities
  • Work alongside the management and marketing team to ensure we are building a product that is both scalable and meets partner and customer needs
  • Ideate and execute scalable sales strategies that drive success for all stakeholders
  • Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements
  • Collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales reports
  • Help design sales toolkit and communicate training materials, especially for sales agents
  • Build and maintain professional networks

Key Competencies: 

  • Proficient in English and Malay languages
  • Passionate about sales and entrepreneurship
  • Strong communication, networking, story building, and presentation skills
  • Able to own and deliver strategic initiatives and sales targets

Key Qualifications:

  •  Experience in B2B and B2C, client-facing roles
  • Proven ability to analyze & synthesize information and convert it into actionable sales plans and business cases
  • Strategic thinking to understand and map market opportunities and needs
  • Experience in growth hacking
