Role description

At Qarbotech, we are transforming paddy cultivation with science-driven photosynthesis enhancers and sustainable agronomic solutions. Our mission is to empower farmers, cooperatives, and government agencies across Penang to improve yield, optimize resources, and adopt modern, sustainable practices. We are seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Paddy Agronomy & Project Implementation Executive to lead field projects, coordinate trials, and drive adoption of Qarbotech technologies. This role blends field expertise, project management, and stakeholder engagement to deliver real impact in paddy production.

What You Will Do: 

• Lead and oversee paddy field trials to validate Qarbotech product performance
• Plan, implement, and monitor the adoption of photosynthesis enhancers across paddy farms
• Establish systematic monitoring frameworks to track growth, yield, and sustainability indicators
• Collect, analyse, and interpret agronomic data and feedback from government agencies, farmers, and cooperatives
• Collaborate with drone spraying companies and field partners to ensure smooth project rollout
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and customized recommendations to improve yield and sustainability
• Conduct training workshops, field demonstrations, and technical sessions for farmers and stakeholders
• Prepare regular progress reports and maintain documentation, ensuring compliance with agronomic best practices

What We’re Looking For: 

• Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Plantation Management, or related field
• Proficiency in soil and crop analysis, agronomic practices, and paddy field trials
• Knowledge of paddy cultivation systems, farmer cooperative structures, and drone spraying technologies
• Strong ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask across projects
• Valid driving license (frequent travel across Penang required)
