Role description
At Qarbotech, we pioneer science-driven solutions to enhance crop performance and promote sustainable agriculture. Our mission is to empower plantations with innovative photosynthesis enhancers and agronomic technologies that increase yield, optimize resources, and support environmental sustainability. We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Palm Oil Agronomy & Field Operations Executive to lead field operations, coordinate plantation trials, and translate agronomic insights into measurable impact. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of fieldwork, data analysis, and client engagement, and is driven to make a tangible difference in palm oil plantation productivity.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and oversee palm oil agronomy activities including soil preparation, nutrient management, crop monitoring, and yield optimization
- Design, implement, and manage structured plantation field trials to validate product performance and effectiveness
- Collect, analyse, and interpret plantation data (yield trends, soil health, crop response) and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Collaborate closely with R&D to refine and localize product solutions for diverse plantation conditions
- Provide end-to-end technical agronomy support to plantation clients, including soil analysis, crop monitoring, customized recommendations, and troubleshooting
- Conduct field demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions to promote product adoption and sustainable yield practices
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and ensure compliance with agronomic best practices and sustainability standards
- Serve as a technical liaison between Qarbotech and plantation partners, ensuring long-term client success and trust
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Plantation Management, or related field
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing agronomic projects in palm oil plantations
- Strong knowledge of palm oil cultivation systems, agronomic practices, and sustainability standards
- Proven ability to collect, analyse, and interpret field data to generate practical, results-driven solutions
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask across field operations and project coordination
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agronomy-related software - Valid driving license (frequent travel required)
