Role description

As a Commercial Sales Manager, you will assist the Commercial Director in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand Qarbotech’s market share in Malaysia. You will also guide and monitor the sales team, ensuring strong client relationships and seamless stakeholder engagement.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Implement and execute sales strategies to broaden market share in Malaysia
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align strategies
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to adapt sales approaches
  • Support ad-hoc duties as required by Commercial Director / COO / CEO

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, chemistry, biotech, or sales-related field
  • 6–8 years of sales management experience, preferably in the fertilizer or agricultural sector
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skill
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agronomy-related software
  • Strong report writing, documentation, and time management skills
  • Fluent in English and Malay (spoken and written)
  • Malaysian citizen with valid driving license (frequent travel required).
